- Do you experience stress-induced tension headaches, upset stomach or muscle tension?
- Do you have nervous habits – like nail biting, cheek biting or emotional eating?
- Do you have chronic pain from a medical condition?
- Has it been a long time since you truly relaxed?
Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis as a therapeutic tool by health care providers (doctors, psychologists, dentists) and hypnotherapists to relieve issues like stress, fear and pain, and to eliminate unhealthy habits. Neuroscientists have been researching hypnosis, its impact on the brain and the benefits it has as a therapeutic tool. WILLIX HYPNOSIS teaches self-hypnosis to relieve stress and improve sleep, and provides hypnotherapy for common fears and phobias (doctors, dentists, flying, snakes, or any other animals); habit changes (nail or cheek biting, procrastination, worrying); pain management; stress reduction; self-improvement (increase confidence and motivation, set and reach goals); insight from dreams; weight loss and specific anxieties, like math anxiety, test anxiety and writer’s block.
Medical hypnosis has multiple uses in hospitals and medical clinics. Prior to surgery it reduces stress, provides hypnotically induced numbness, and slows down the blood flow. It also speeds up the healing process. Hypnotherapists do not diagnosis medical or psychological conditions. If you have a medical or psychological condition that goes beyond common, everyday-ordinary stress and the aches and pains it causes, ask your doctor, chiropractor or other medical professional for a note authorizing hypnotherapy.
Self-hypnosis, as a daily practice like meditation, calms the mind, energizes the body, and provides health benefits. Listening to hypnosis audios may put you into a deep state of relaxation, and help you shift your habits and thought patterns. One-on-one sessions with a hypnotherapist address specific situations and are usually more effective, since they are individually crafted based on the information provided.
